In this striking piece of wall relief art, a group of Chassidic klezmer musicians plays golden instruments on a street that begins with one of the wooden huts of the European shtetls, then morphs into the cobblestone pavement and old stone buildings of Jerusalem, and finally, sloping upward, becomes the concrete pavement and gleaming high-rise buildings of today’s Jerusalem. Hand-sculpted in Jerusalem ceramic and embellished with pure platinum and 24-karat gold.
