Supplication

The Western Wall fills the frame of this hand-sculpted relief in Jerusalem ceramic. A minyan of Jews stands close to the Wall, their heads leaning on its stones in prayer and supplication. Sculpted in breathtaking detail and embellished with 24-karat gold and precious platinum, this hand-painted treasure exudes the spiritual magnetism that has drawn the Jewish People to the Kotel ever since the destruction of our Holy Temple. The whole work expresses the yearning of the Jewish People for its ancient home, and it is considered one of the classic works in the Silverstone gallery.
