The Fiddler

Inspired by a Marc Chagall painting, this mysterious, metaphorical wall relief depicts a street in a European shtetl, with its characteristic simple houses and wooden fences and forested hills in the background. On the roof sits the famous Jewish fiddler, bathed in platinum moonlight, playing his melody of eternal hope and prayer. Hand-sculpted in Jerusalem ceramic and embellished with touches of pure platinum and 24-karat gold.
